The Newcomer Therapy Program

Due to generous funding through the United Way of Winnipeg, Aurora is able to offer Family, Couple & Individual therapy free of charge to Newcomers.
Our therapists are experienced in helping people sort through the many family and personal challenges as they figure out life in Canada. We have experience with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, trauma, communication between parents and kids/teens, dealing with painful memories, isolation, addiction and more.
We have a therapists who speak a variety of languages, and also have access to interpreters.
This pilot program runs until March 2017.

The Newcomer Community Development Program

Our goal is to offer a wide variety of programs to Newcomers across the lifespan to aid in connecting them with the local community and to provide relevant information and support to help them settle successfully.

We have a variety of group programs available including

-Men's Healthy Living

-Women's Coffee Club

-Seasonal Recreational activities

-Parenting Programs

-Leadership Programs for Youth

-Core Area Neighborhood Group
